This program is a CME course which was video taped at the Ohio State Ross Heart Health Hospital and HFSA meeting in Sep. 2006. The program describes the mechanisms and adverse effects sleep apnea has on cardiovascular function, reviews, and interprets the current evidence regarding the benefits of treatment of sleep apnea in patients with heart failure, and distinguishes the role of treatment of sleep apnea in the overall management of patients with heart failure.
